Bonnie M. Hansen, 71, of Milan, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017, peacefully with her loving family at her side at UnityPoint Health-Trinity, Rock Island.  Funeral services for Bonnie will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 4th Ave. E., Milan.  Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island.  Memorials may be made in care of the QC Animal Welfare Center, Milan.

Bonnie was born on August 30, 1945 in Rock Island, a daughter of Dale and Bernice Balmer Manary.  Bonnie worked as the Bar Manager at the Rock Island Boat Club.  She married John Hansen on February 19, 1999 in Kahoka, Missouri.

Bonnie was a lifetime member of the Rock Island Boat Club and was formerly on the Rock Island Boat Club Board of Directors.  She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, gardening, animals and dancing. Bonnie was a avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, John; sons, Mike (Katy) Nelsen, Andalusia and Darrin Hynes, Rock Island; grandchildren, Hannah Nelsen, Reed  Nelsen and Blair Hynes; siblings, Tina Green, Arizona; Lisa (Chuck)Soseman, Aledo; Russell Manary, Washington; and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings; Monty, Jerry, Connie, Raymond, Chester and Vickie.
