Bonnie G. (Schwigen) Woeckener, 92, Andalusia, IL passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at UnityPoint-Trinity in Rock Island.

A private graveside service will be held at the Andalusia Cemetery.

Memorials preferred to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Mrs. Woeckener was born on March 7,1930 to Mr. Raymond R. & Alice E. Dunbar Schwigen in Rock Island where she grew up and graduated high school.

She married Ralph W. Woeckener on June 26,1948 at St. Joseph Church in Rock Island. The couple made their home and raised their seven children in Rock Island and later, Andalusia, where they and were members of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. They remained married until his passing in 2003.

Prior to moving to Andalusia, Bonnie and her husband owned and operated Ralph's TV & Appliance in Rock Island.

They moved to Andalusia in August 1973 where she was an Andalusia Police Officer alongside her husband, Ralph, who was the Police Chief. Bonnie served as a police officer until September 1992.

She is survived by children, William (Susan), Richard, David, Larry, Ralph (Rebecca) Woeckener Jr., Constance (Norbert) Wagner; brother-in-law, Albert (Patricia) Woeckener; 12 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ralph; son, Anthony; and brother, Raymond Schwigen, Jr.
