Bradford L. "Brad" Postel, 64, of Coal Valley, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at his home. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island. Inurnment with military honors will follow in Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Memorials may be made in care of the family.

Brad was born on November 2, 1956, in Monticello, Iowa, a son of Harold F. and JoAnn Lucille (Eden) Postel. He served in the U.S. Army and married Pamela A. Brandmeyer on July 22, 2011 in Rock Island. Brad worked as a mechanic and enjoyed woodworking, vintage cars, antiques, and tinkering around the house.

Those left to cherish Brad's memory include his wife, Pam; children, Stephanie (Mick) Morgan, Nicole (Chris) Judge, and Jeffrey Smith; grandchildren, Briannah, Emily, Payton, Phillip, and Tyler; and sister, Jill.

Brad was preceded in death by his parents.
