Branden Colvin Sr., beloved father, son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, and cousin. Branden was fun loving and full of life, he was intelligent and caring, with an unwavering loyalty to his family and friends. While his time in this world was far too short, he made permanent imprints on all the lives he touched, imprints that will live on through the memories we hold dear and the stories we will tell in the years and decades ahead.

Branden RoCarl Colvin Sr., 42, of Rock Island, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023, in Davenport, Iowa.

A Celebration of Life Balloon Release will be 1 pm, Thursday at Longview Park, Rock Island, in the upper area of the Park. A repass will be held later Thursday at The Broadway, 2115-4th Avenue, Rock Island from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Memorials may be made to his family.

Branden was born on November 18, 1980, in Rock Island, a son of Robert and Beverly (Williams) Colvin. Mr. Colvin worked as a fork truck driver for X-Pac, Milan. Braden was well known in the community and will be missed.

Survivors include his children, Noah Petersen, Brittney Colvin, Branden Colvin Jr., NeyShawn Jones, Elijah Henderson; a grandson, Brooks Petersen; siblings, Robert Hurd, Andrea Williams, Carlisa Hurd-Patrick, Ashley Christian-Neely; and a host of other family members.

Branden was preceded by his parents, and grandparents, Easker and Henrietta Williams, and Jewel and Johnnie Mae Colvin.
