Brandie R. Youngs, 45, of Silvis passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021 at home.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, January 4th at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm Monday, January 3rd at the funeral home. Memorials may be made in care of the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance.

Brandie was born on August 20, 1976, a daughter of Brian and Barbara (Rippee) Smith. She married Shane Youngs on July 7, 2007 in Las Vegas. She was currently a Program Manager for KONE in Moline.

Brandie had many hobbies including; cross stitch, word searches, cooking, getting her nails done and collecting Coach purses and bird ornaments. Although, her greatest joy in life was spending time with family, whether it be receiving flowers or macaroons from her husband, playing with her grandson or teaching everyone the RIGHT way to make pickle things. Brandie's laugh could always be heard from across the room and will forever be remembered by all.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Shane Youngs, Silvis; daughter, Alexis Youngs, Silvis; grandson, Oliver; parents, Brian and Barbara Smith, Colona; sisters, Patricia (Greg) Nimrick and Tracie (David) Fuller, both of McHenry, IL; nieces and nephews, Taylor, Abbey, Jacob and Devon; and mother-in-law, Brenda Youngs, Davenport.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Ed Youngs.

The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at the cancer center at Genesis Medical Center in Silvis.
