Brandon M. Brooks Sr., 35 of Rock Island, died Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in Davenport.

A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island.

Brandon M. Brooks was born on July 1st, 1981 the son of Shelly Brooks-Lucas and Brian Allbritton. Brandon attended schools in Silvis and Rock Island and was an honor student.

He is the father of one son, Brandon Brooks Jr. At an early age Brandon developed a great love for music and writing lyrics. His dream was to become a music artist, he was known for his sense of fashion, an endless shoe collection, and loved to travel. In addition, he loved Alfono's Calzones and Mama Bossa pizza.

Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Shelly; father, Brian; son, Brandon; sister, Shaneika Allbritton; brothers, Kortnei Foulks and DeVontae(Brittany) Brooks; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and friends.
