Brenda Sue Moon , 79, of Rock Island, passed away Tuesday April 28, 2020 in Rock Island.

In accordance with her wishes, her family will gather to celebrate her life at later date.  Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island, is assisting the family with arrangements.  Memorials may be made to the family to be designated later.

Brenda was born December 18, 1940 in Columbia, Iowa, a daughter of Donald Moon and Betty Mozena Moon.  She graduated from and received her bachelor's degree from Western Illinois University.

Brenda was a teacher with Blackhawk College Outreach, and substitute with the Geneseo and Colona School Districts.  She sold real estate with Boeye Realtors and later Mel Foster Co.

She enjoyed being a Mary Kay representative, member of the Australian Shepherd Rescue Club and showed AQHA horses.

Surviving are her daughter, Susie Bizarri, Atkinson, Ill.; son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Kelly Mayerhofer, Milan; grandchildren, Jaime Bizarri, Kate Mayerhofer, Ella Mayerhofer, Claire Mayerhofer, and Anna Mayerhofer; brothers Greg Moon, and his wife Susan, Madison, Wi. and Terry Moon, Davenport, Iowa; and nieces and nephews.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents.
