Obituary

Brent Lee Wynn, 66, Milan, IL passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at his home. There will be a visitation from 4-7:00 PM on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Memorials may be made to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center.

Brent was born on July 10, 1959, in Moline, Illinois, to Wayne and Delores (Johnson) Wynn. He grew up in Milan and graduated from Rock Island High School in 1977. Shortly after graduation, he began his career with KONE in the Escalator Division as a welder. He later became a forklift driver and retired in 2025 after 40 years of dedicated service.

On May 3, 1985, Brent married Paula Hall in Morrison, Illinois. Together they built their home in Milan and raised their children.

Brent loved spending time on the water. An avid boater and water skier, he competed in water ski tournaments throughout the country in his younger years. Later in life, he enjoyed countless days on the rivers and lakes with his family. Above all, Brent cherished his grandchildren. He rarely missed an opportunity to attend their sporting events and was always willing to drive them to practices and games.

He will be greatly missed by his wife of 41 years, Paula; children, Bradley Kunkel, Blair Wynn, and Benjamin (Yvonne Lane) Wynn; grandchildren, Cali, Bradley Jr. and Sebastian Kunkel; Ashton, Lucas, and Easton Wynn; Letty and Logan De La Rosa; and Lincoln Wynn.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
