Brian J. Hoftender, 58, of Muscatine County, Iowa, formerly of Tulsa, OK, died Sunday, April 7, 2024.  Cremation rites were accorded.  A memorial service will be 1 pm Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Avenue, Milan.  Visitation will be from 12 – 1 pm Saturday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made in care of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Brian was born in Dubuque, Iowa on June 29, 1965, a son of Kenneth "Ken" R. and Fredricka Lanham Hoftender.

Brian recently retired from Group O, in Milan in 2023.

He enjoyed fishing and watching Oklahoma University football.  He loved his two dogs, RJ and Lucy.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Tyler Hoftender, Tulsa, OK; mother, Fredricka Hoftender, East Moline; grandchildren, Mila and Micah; and siblings, Karen (Chris) O'Ferrell, Sharon Wilson, Amy (Mike) Ward, Jay Hoftender, Tim (Heather) Hoftender, Ann (Darren) Patrick and Alan (Allison) Hoftender.

He was preceded in death by his father.
