Brian H. Jasper, 62, of Milan, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at his home. Graveside services for Mr. Jasper will be 11 am, Tuesday at the Rock Island National Cemetery, where military honors will be conducted. Those wishing to attend the graveside services at the National Cemetery should meet at the funeral home at 10:00 am. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 7 pm at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan. Memorials may be made to the family or to the QC Honor Flight.

Brian was born on October 22, 1953 in Rock Island, a son of Malvern and Frances Reinhart Jasper. He married Vicki Schaecher on May 26, 1973 in Rock Island. Brian was a iron worker for the Iron Workers Local No. 111, Rock Island, he retired in October of 2014. Brian was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Vicki; mother, Frances Jasper, Rock Island; children, Amy Groene, Christopher Jasper, Laura (David) Otten and Steven Jasper all of Milan; grandchildren, Lauren Groene and Liam Otten; siblings, Kathy Jasper, Rock Island, Beth (Rick) Ater, Rock Island and Mark (Shiela) Jasper, Davenport.
