Bulmaro H. Garcia, 81, of Moline, passed away Monday December 24, 2018 at home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 31, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Moline. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island, with a rosary recited at 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

Bulmaro was born April 16, 1937 in Mexico, a son of J. Luz Garcia and Nicolesa Hurtado Garcia. He married Maria Jaime. She preceded him in death in 1985.

Prior to his retirement, Bulmaro was a baker for many years in the Quad Cities. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Moline. Bulmaro enjoyed gardening, spending time with family and friends, and helping others however he could.

Surviving are his children, Irma Garcia De Lechuga, Moline, Gloria Garcia Jaime, California, Yolonda Garcia, Moline and Lupe Garcia, Oregon; grandchildren, Alex Garcia, Christian Lechuga, Grecia Garcia, Maria Garcia and Mario Garcia, all of Moline; great-grandchildren, Giovanni, Luciano, Emmalise and Milania; brothers, Octavio Garcia, Rock Island, and Rodolfo Garcia, Mexico; and many nieces, nephews, and other family.

Bulmaro was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brothers, Raul Garcia and Gil Garcia.
