Butler Lee Dickerson, 82, of Moline, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at home.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, February 28, 2025 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island, with a visitation to be held from 10:30 to 11:30 am. Burial with military honors will be in Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Memorials may be made in care of the family to help with his grandchildren's education.

Lee was born on December 15, 1942 in Hodgenville, Kentucky, a son of John Kelly and Tora (Price) Dickerson. He married Marcella Dusenberry on December 11, 1971 in Moline, IL. Lee retired from John Deere.

Those left to cherish Lee's memory include his children, Jason Dickerson and Tammy Dickerson; grandchildren, Tora and Xavier Dickerson; siblings, Geneva Parrish, Shirley Bales, Richard (Trudy) Dickerson and Robert Dickerson; and a host of extended family.

Lee was preceded in death by his wife, parents and brother, John William Dickerson.
