Calvin N. LaFrence, 90, of Osco, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Hammond-Henry Hospital, Geneseo. Following cremation, there will be no visitation or service. Calvin was born on August 23, 1924 at his family home: 309 Elm Avenue, Hackensack, New Jersey. Calvin was the fourth son of Charles Henry and Maud Lillian LaFrence. He graduated from Park Ridge High School in Park Ridge, NJ. Calvin married Nancy Lee Tromm on August 14, 1949 at Grace Episcopal Church in Nyack, NY. She passed away on March 21, 1963. He married Betty June Lane on December 27, 1971. He retired as a service manager for the Bendix Corporation/Litton Enterprises, retiring after 43 years of service.

Calvin is survived by his spouse, Betty June, Osco; two daughters, Nancy Ferkel, Moline and Anita Brunson, Rock Island; a grandson, Bailey Justin Ferkel, LaGrange, GA and a niece, Barbara Edwards, Troy, VT.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy Lee; a son, Calvin Wayne and two daughters, Barbara Jean and Georgia Tromm.
