Calvin F. Lancour, 39, of Rock Island, passed away Monday July 9, 2018 at home. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 14th at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island. Burial will be at Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family to be designated later. Calvin was born January 8, 1979 in Moline, a son of Paul III and Deborah M. Norris Lancour. He graduated from Rock Island High School, Class of 1997. At a young age, Calvin developed an interest in machining and mechanics by helping in his dad's machine shop. He currently was employed with Eagle Engineering, Eldridge. Calvin enjoyed using his mechanical skills, remodeling his home, and gardening. He loved hosting family get-togethers, and spending time with family and friends, especially his nieces and nephews. Surviving are his parents, Paul III and Deborah, of Rock Island;  son, Jeremy Haynes-Lancour; girlfriend, Nancy Hinsberger, and her children David Jr. And Noah; brothers and sisters, Carolyn M. (Clinton) Towery, Rock Island, Christopher P. (Cynthia) Lancour, Moline, Casey E. Lancour, Moline, Cassandra M. (Shaun) Osborn, Moline; nieces and nephews, Chasity and Cody Smith, Talon Lancour, Paige Dell, Autumn, Kaitlyn and Casey Lancour, Derek Baustian, Raevyn and Logan Osborn; great nephews, Weston and Nolan; great niece, Savannah; paternal grandmother, Evelyn M. Lancour, Janesville, Wisc.; and numerous aunts, uncles, and other family. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Paul Lancour, Jr. and his maternal grandparents, Edward J. and Vera Norris.
