Carissa D. Bodeen, 30, of Rock Island, passed away Sunday March 27, 2016 at her home.

Services will be 10:00am Thursday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 201 4th Ave E., Milan. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Viola Cemetery. Memorials may  be left to the family.

Carissa was born on July 27, 1985 in Silvis, the daughter of Kenny and Cindy (Street) Bodeen.

She graduated from Black Hawk Area Special Education in 2006. Carissa loved to listen to country music, especially Keith Urban and was always ready for an adventure with her family or friends.

Survivors include her parents, Kenny and Cindy, Milan; sister, Cassie Welchel, West Liberty, IA; brothers, Greg Wechel, Milan, Danny Muse, North English, IA, Brad Muse, Conway, AR.; grandmother, Dee Cary; great grandmother, Bernice Merz; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.
