Obituary
Carita A. Lopez, 80, of Milan, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019 at UPH-Trinity, Rock Island.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 26, 2019 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Memorials may be made to the family.
Carita was born on July 16, 1938 in Harlan, IA, the daughter of Harry T. and Alice A. (Graf) McGee. She worked as the payroll accountant for both International Harvester and the Rock Island Arsenal.
Carita is survived by her daughters, Kimberly (Carl) Berry and Diane (David) Bart-Wells; grandchildren, Nicole, Amy, Matthew, and Alicia; great grandchildren, Mikayla, Veronica, and James; sister Margaret Janovick; and good friend, Oscar Lopez. She was preceded in death by her parents.
