Carl L. Cramer, 77, of Rock Island passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.  Per his wishes, Carl will be cremated and Private Inurnment will be at a later date.

Carl was born on December 10, 1940 in Rock Island, a son of Edward and Ida (Trommer) Cramer.  Carl graduated from Rock Island high school and served his country in the U.S. Army.  He married Becky Ely on February 14, 1969 in Rock Island.  Carl worked at International Harvester for 30 years, retiring in 1988 at the age of 48.  He loved working on his family farm with his brothers.  He also enjoyed trains and spending time with his family, even if they were watching sports on TV.

Left to cherish Carl's memory are; his wife, Becky; children, Cheryl (Bill) Vaughn, Cordova and James Cramer, Rock Island; grandchildren, Christian, Tyler and Austin Cramer and Billy, Nick and Mike Vaughn; brothers, Bill Cramer and Bob (Guila Miller) Cramer, Milan; Mary Ann (Art) Hofmann, Rock Island; a niece, Rhonda (Marlin) Reddick, Milan and many other loving family members and friends

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters
