Carl B. Heimbeck, 61, of Milan, died Friday, April 24, 2015 at Rock Island Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Rock Island, surrounded by his family. Services will be 2:00pm Tuesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan. Visitation will be from Noon to service time at the funeral home. Cremation rites to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in care of the family.

Carl was born in Rock Island on August 14, 1953, a son of Edward William and Elaine Victoria Schmidt Heimbeck. He married Jennifer Moeller in San Bernardino, Calif. in 1988 with whom he had three children. They later divorced.
Carl worked for Bi State Tire as an auto body technician in Rock Island. He was last employed as a meat salesman for Prime Time Quality Meats in Davenport.
He enjoyed fishing, coaching his daughters basketball games when they were younger and playing basketball himself. In fact, he even played semi-professional basketball in his younger years. Carl also loved cars.
Survivors include his children, Elisabeth (Allen) Parker, Rock Island, Ashley (Jeremy Tatum) Heimbeck, Moline and Edward (Megan Lott) Heimbeck, East Moline; grandchildren, Everett, Michael Jr., Autumn, Alyiah, Lamarr and Jason; brother, Shawn Heimbeck, Milan; sister, Madelynne Carothers, Eldorado, Mo and nephew, Christopher Carothers, Bettendorf.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Emily Lake.
