Carl L. "Rusty" Mason, 60, of Milan, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at UnityPoint Health-Trinity, Rock Island.

Cremation rites have been accorded at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan and private services will be held. Memorials may be made to Rusty's family.

Rusty was born September 8, 1964, in Moultrie, Georgia, a son of Carl and Gaye Marie (Thoman) Mason. He graduated high school and worked as a truck driver. He later moved to the Quad Cities and married Stacey K. Gipe on September 22, 2001. Rusty really enjoyed driving. He also liked to read and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Those left to cherish Rusty's memory include his wife, Stacey; children, Sean (Ariel) Mason, Dustan Gipe, Chasity Gipe, Alisha Sparling, Natasha Mason, Silas Mason, Phoenix Mason, and Braxtyn Mason; grandchildren, Keagan and Lauren; brother, Doyle Mason; and a host of extended family members.

Rusty was preceded in death by his parents.
