Carlton James "Jim" Birrell, Jr., 55, of Silvis, passed away at Genesis Medical Center, Silvis on February 12, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents Carlton James "Jim" Birrell Sr. and Kathleen Birrell. He is survived by his son, Erik Flores (Brandy), daughter, Danielle Birrell (Travis); sister, Sue Cabe (Drew); the love of his life, Lisa Potter; and six grandchildren, Kaleb, Rylee, Jeremy, Declan, Crystal, and Angelina; nephews, Ethan and Jacob Cabe. A Celebration of Life will be held at noon on Saturday, February 18 at the Moose Lodge, 4410-9th St., Rock Island. Jim enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his friends.  He was a avid Chicago Cubs fan. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan is assisting the family.
