IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Carol L.
Carver
October 29, 1950 – December 15, 2018
On Saturday December 15th, 2018, Carol L. Carver, our loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother, passed away unexpectedly at University of Iowa Hospital at the age of 68. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Friday, December 21, 2018, from 4pm to 7pm at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan, IL Carol's ashes will be placed privately by her family at the National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Carol was born October 29, 1950 in Fayetteville, NC, daughter of Gordon and Joyce McCray Coleman. She married Ralph "Ed" Carver on August 31, 1973 in Fayetteville. Carol was happily retired after working many years for several companies including Millward Brown, Lowes, and Milan Lanes. Carol loved spending time with her family and friends, reading, sewing, crocheting, baking, going on trips with her husband, and especially enjoyed making special gifts for those closest to her. Carol had many friends in the Quad Cities but could make a friend anywhere she went. Carol is survived by her husband, Ralph, of Milan; daughter, Brandi Robinson, (Teresa Miller), Geneseo; grandchildren, Rebecca (Bryan) Bultinck, Rock Island, Alexander Rossitto (Alecia), Andaulsia, Jacob Rossitto, Geneseo, Kaitlynn Rossitto, Geneseo, Matthew Miller, Colona, Michael Miller (Kirsten), Rock Island, Mitchell Miller, East Moline, and Jessica Miller, Geneseo; great-grandchildren, Luccas, Isabella, Huxley, Marilynn and Greysen; brothers, Al (Ann) Coleman and Willie (Cindy) Coleman and sister, Debbie Jones, all of Eastover, NC; many special nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Michael Fleckles. In lieu of flowers the family will accept donations to be given to Carol's beloved Niece, Tana Coleman, who has been battling Cancer, to help pay medical bills, as we believe that is what Mom would have wanted.
