Carol A. Keller, 67, of Rock Island, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 29, 2014 at St. Anthony's Nursing and Rehab Center, Rock Island. Services will be planned for a later date at the River of Life Church, Bettendorf. Memorials may be made to the Robert Young Center. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island is assisting the family.

Carol Ann Bernauer was born on October 21, 1946 in Davenport, Iowa, a daughter of Robert and Betty (Comer) Bernauer . She married David Keller. Carol was a cook at Daven-Hill Nursing Home in Davenport for a number of years. She loved to crochet, paint and attend local auctions.

Survivors include her children, Todd (Trista) Bernauer, Davenport, Angel (fiancee, Shawn O'Neill) Keller - Huston, Bettendorf, Bradley Bernauer, Brian Bernauer and Julie Klein; brothers, Gene Zemke, Renton, Wash., Gerald and Melvin Bernauer and Kelvin Garrow, all of Davenport, a sister, Gloria Huston, Bettendorf and several grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother, Steve Bernauer.
