Carol Lesley, 73, of Rock Island, passed away Monday, May 4, 2015 at Unity Point Health - Trinity, Rock Island.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM on Friday, May 8, 2015, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030 7th Ave, Rock Island. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will be at Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the family.

Carol was born May 13, 1941 in Davenport, IA, the daughter of Stanley and Ruth (Heiser) Mirfield. She married Richard Lesley on May 14, 1961 in Illinois. Carol was employed as a CNA at St. Anthony's Nursing and Rehab Center, and managed the Strafford House Apartment Complex for over forty five years. She enjoyed going to the boat, taking part of the Audobon School PTA and various clubs, loved animals (especially cats and dogs), and watching Chasson Randle play basketball for Stanford University.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Susan Lesley and fiancé Bryan Pierson of Princeton, IL; son, Larry (Deb) Lesley of Rock Island; daughter-in-law, Vicki Lesley ; four grandchildren; sister, Christine Whittney, Davenport; brother-in-law, James Jacobsen; and special friend Mychael Cervantes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lesley; parents; son, David Lesley; two sisters, Helen Mirfield and Janice Jacobsen; and brother, Douglas Mirfield.
