Carol A. Harris, 73, of Milan, passed away Sunday September 15, 2024 at her home.

Private inurnment was held Friday September 26, 2024 in Rock Island National Cemetery.

Carol was born on May 30, 1951 in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Verle and Genevieve (Washburn) Pittser. She married Warren Ray Harris on April 15, 1978.

Mrs Harris had been employed at the former Northwestern Bell Telephone Company, later AT&T for many years as a telephone operator.

She had enjoyed spending time with Ray and her beloved dog, Mickey.

Survivors include her step sons, Warren Harris, Doug Harris, Tony Schultz; grandchildren, Amanda, Brady, Bronte, Brianna; great granddaughter, Halee; sisters, Linda Pittser, Sharon (Ken) Peterson, Jean Corn; several nieces and nephews, including Kimberly Rosen.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Ray; parents, Verle and Genevieve; and granddaughter, Jessica.
