Carol A. Taylor, 58, of Rock Island, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 15, 2015, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan. Visitation will be held from 4 PM - 7 PM on Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family.

Carol was born September 22, 1956 in Rock Island, the daughter of Donald and Barbara (Allen) Battin. She enjoyed crafting, rummaging, and hosting parties for her friends and family.

Carol is survived by her partner Bob Warnke; her two sons, Donald and William (Melissa) Taylor; her grandchildren, Mathew, Destiny, Brittany, Alexis, and Austin; her sisters, Jody Williamson, Brenda Voss, Wendy Houff, Melody Hawkins, Jennifer Battin, and Kelly Sherman; her brothers, Donald, Bryan, Mike, Jeff, and Jamie Battin. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Greg Allen, Chris and David Battin; and Don and Alberta Taylor.
