Obituary
Carol Ann Wilcox, 76, of Rock Island, died Monday, July 14, 2014 at her home. Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services. Burial will be private in Coal Valley Township Cemetery. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island, is assisting the family.
Carol was born in Rock Island on February 25, 1938, a daughter of Charles H. Jr. and Dorothy J. Jackson Nicholls. She married Cary Wilcox in Okeechobee, Fla.
Carol worked as a payroll clerk for Seaford Clothing in Rock Island for thirty plus years, retiring in 2009.
Survivors include her husband, Cary Wilcox, Rock Island; son, Billy (Robin) Palos, Milan; grandchildren, Brian (Heather), Andy and Chad Dehaven; and great-grandchildren, Brianna, Brian Jr., Tyler and Chloe Dehaven.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Deborah Ashby and sister, Judith Gillen.

Private , at Coal Valley Township Cemetery, Coal Valley, Illinois
