Caroline "Carrie" A. Quick, 65, of Rock Island, passed away Friday, November 8, 2024 at home surrounded by her loved ones.  Cremation rites were accorded.  A celebration of life gathering will take place from 1-4 pm on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at the Eagle's Club, 5103 11th Street, Rock Island.  Inurnment will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Davenport.  Memorials may be made in care of the Lupus Foundation of America.  Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island, is assisting the family.

Carrie was born in Rock Island, Illinois on August 5, 1959, a daughter of Jesse G. and Michaela V. Morales Diaz.  She married Keith E. Quick on June 28, 1986.

Carrie worked for Rock Island County, Rock Island High School and Rock Island Packaging.

She enjoyed sewing, working on puzzles, "Christmas shopping", visiting the boat and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals.  She was an avid bowler and loved spending time with her family.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Keith Quick; children, Benjamin Quick and Jennifer (Charlie) Mussomele; granddaughters, Gabriella and Liliana; and siblings, Jesse Diaz, Anna Marie Diaz, Grace Shirk and David Diaz.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Mary Antoinette, Charles and Albert Diaz and Antonia "Patty" Vincent.
