Caroline L. Barlang, 84, of Edgington, passed away Thursday April 22, 2021 at her home.

Services will be 12:30pm Tuesday April 27, 2021 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan, with visitation from 11:00am to service time. Attendees are required to wear a mask and observe social distancing guidelines. Burial will be in Edgington Cemetery. Memorials may be left to QC Animal Welfare Center, Milan.

Caroline was born on March 21, 1937 in Rock Island, the daughter of Vaun and Agnes (Berry) Weaver. She married Kenneth Barlang on July 20, 1957 in Rock Island.

Mrs. Barlang had been employed by Rock Ridge School District as a bus driver for over 33 years.

She loved spending time with family and friends, her flowers and gardening, flea markets, watching old western's, was an avid New England Patriot's fan and playing dominos.

Survivors include her children, Cindy (Richard) Castro, Bettendorf, Brian Barlang, Rock Island, Cathy Cooper, Edgington; brother, Clayton (Anne) Weaver, Chicago; grandchildren, Eric, Mitchell, Brandon and Brian Jr.; great grandchild, Leeandra and niece, Elizabeth.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; parents and a brother.
