Carolyn M. Jacobs, 85, of Milan, passed away Friday, October 28, 2022, at her residence.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at Faith Evangelical Free Church, 6128 Airport Road, Moline, IL.  Inurnment will be held at a later date at Roselawn Cemetery, Moline.  Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Carolyn was born on June 30, 1937 in Hannibal, MO, the daughter of Jay and Erma (Pickett) Avery.  She married Richard Jacobs in 1965 in Milan.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Richard Jacobs; daughter, Carol Hendrickson; grandchildren, Sarah (Eric) Martin and Chris Rogers; great grandchildren, Bryce Rogers, Aaron Rogers, Jeremy Martin, Jaxon Martin, Andrew Martin, Robert Martin, and Elijah DeWitt; and siblings, Diana (Dick) Morris, Judy (Glen) Bote, and Donna Boggs.  She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kevin Jacobs; and brother, Gene Avery.
