Carolyn A. Keever, 84, of Milan, passed away Monday December 17, 2018 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline.

Graveside memorial services, with military honors presented by the Milan American Legion, Post 569, will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2019 at National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Those wishing to attend are to meet at 2:00 p.m. Friday January 25 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island.

Carolyn was born January 25, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois, a daughter of William and Theresa Meller Craig.

She served was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and retired from the Rock Island Arsenal.

Carolyn was a member of the Milan American Legion, Post 569 and was past president of the Legion Auxiliary. She served on the Post 569 Honor Guard for many years. In earlier years, she was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Daughters of Rebekah.

She loved her family and will be greatly missed. She enjoyed playing the piano, reading, playing cards and cooking.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Curtis Rosenberg Sr. and Lisa Rosenberg, Coal Valley; grandchildren, April Rosenberg and Curtis L. Rosenberg Jr.; great grandchildren, Ella, Emma and Dakota; sister, Virginia P. MacAlpine, New Hampshire and her special friends at the McDonalds in Milan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and stepmother, Rhoda Craig.
