Carolyn Ann Jeanine Brown, 61, of East Moline, passed away Monday, November 12, 2018 at UPH-Trinity, Rock Island.

Private services have been held.  Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island at a later date.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Carolyn was born on April 1, 1957 in Rock Island, the daughter of Gomer and Marilyn (Bryant) Royal.  She married Joseph D. Brown on July 12, 1980 in Rock Island, he preceded her in death.  She worked as a Legal Process Administrator at Deere and Company.  Carolyn enjoyed computers, watching movies, and going to play crafter's shows.  She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, East Moline.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Steven Royal; mother, Marilyn Royal; sister, Darlene Nimmers; nephews, Jacob and Justin Nimmers; and brother-in-law, Ira Gooch.  She was preceded in death by her father and husband, Joseph Brown.
