Carter Jean Day, beloved infant son of Devin Day and Faith Gibson, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday September 28, 2023.

Funeral services will be 12:00pm Sunday October 8, 2023 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Avenue, Rock Island. The family will greet friends from 11:00am to service time at the funeral home. A gathering to celebrate Carter's life will begin at 1:00pm at Riverfront Grille, 4619 34th St, Rock Island.

Carter was born on June 3, 2023 in Davenport, Iowa.

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Faith Gibson and Devin Day; maternal grandparents, Tim and Elizabeth Gibson; paternal grandmother, Tricia Jean Day; aunts, Shelby (Ryan) Clark and Mallory Day; uncles, Braxxten Gibson and Bently Gibson; maternal great grandparents, Bob and Sharon Gibson, Dave and Susie DeWolfe; and paternal great grandmother, Patrice Day.

He was preceded in death by his Paternal great grandfather, Ronald Gene Day and maternal great grandfather, Harold Rucker.
