Casey Van Armstrong, 32, of Rock Island, passed away Sunday December 20, 2015.
A service to celebrate his life will be 11:30am Monday December 28 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 10:00am to service time. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island.
Casey was born on August 6, 1983 in Moline, the son of Laura(Armstrong) DeCoster and Ron Armstrong Jr. Casey enjoyed fishing, camping, hangin with friends and playing disc golf.
Survivors include his mother and father; brother, Korry; grandma, MaryRose DeCoster; nephews, Korry Jr. and Blake; uncles, Joe, Tom, Ed DeCoster, Rick, Randy, Russell, Rory Armstrong; bro, Ryan Peterson; sis, Brandy (Rob "Burt") Pauley; father figures, Norm Peterson and Jim Koehler; many cousins.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Ron Sr. and Marion Armstrong, Cyriel DeCoster and his uncle, Augie.
Casey was loved and will be greatly missed.
