Charity C. Maguire, 47, of Moline, died Monday, July 29, 2024 at home.  Cremation rites were accorded.  A memorial service will be at 10 am Monday, August 5, 2024 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030 7th Avenue, Rock Island.  Memorials may be made in care of Kings Harvest Pet Rescue, Davenport, Iowa.

Charity was born in Pineville, Louisianna on September 5, 1976, a daughter of Phillip Jr. and Julia Walker Maguire.  She graduated from Hickory Hills Christian Academy and later attended Drury University, both of Springfield, Missouri.

Charity was a caregiver for most of her career.  She was also an accomplished musician, free spirit and animal lover.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Julia Maguire, Middleburg Heights, OH; sister, Phyllis (Lonnie) Whaley, Rock Island; significant other, Damien Bruggeman; nephew, Phillip Whaley; niece, Denae Whaley; and many aunts, an uncle and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father.
