With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Charleigh Jae Wells, precious daughter of Dalton Wells and Grace Moore, who was born sleeping on March 27, 2026. Though her time with us was fleeting, the light of her spirit will forever illuminate the lives of those she touched.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, April 6, 2026, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory in Rock Island, where family and friends will gather to celebrate her. Memorials in Charleigh's name may be left in the care of her family.

Charleigh leaves behind her devoted parents, Dalton and Grace, and is lovingly remembered by her grandparents, Mark (Stephanie) Moore, Jennifer Moore (Will Pfaff), Samantha Hoffman (Mike Mendoza), and Jerry (Diana) Wells. She is also cherished by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family who will carry her memory in their hearts.
