Charlene Raysheka Hearn was born on October 5th, 1982, in Rock Island, IL to the parents of Robin R. Slater and Charles R. Hearn. Charlene descends from a military family and subsequently began to travel the world at a very young age. She attended elementary schools at Fort Polk, LA and in Kaiserslautern, Germany. She attended High School in the State of Washington and in the State of Illinois where she graduated from Round Lake Senior High School, Round Lake, Illinois. After a brief attendance in college, Charlene developed a strong affection for the health-related fields. Although experiencing other jobs in the hospitality field, Charlene's main work experience during the majority of her adult work-life career was rooted as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Charlene transitioned this earthly life to her heavenly home on December 15, 2021 in Clarksville, Tennessee.
Preceding Charlene in death were her dad Charles R. Hearn, daughter, Baby Asia Hearn, sisters, Taya LeShon Slater and Nikkishia Sharee Hearn, maternal grandparents Emma L. Slater and Willie E. Scott, paternal grandparents Willie Hearn, Sr. and Willie Mae Hearn, Edward Southern and Virginia Southern, maternal great grandparents, Erma Mae Thomas, and Frank Dillard,
Charlene leaves to cherish her memories, mother Robin R. Beamon, son, DeMareon J. Young (Dee), and brother Dexter D. Beamon, Jr. (J.R.) (Courtney) all of Clarksville, TN; brother Devon Hickman (Ona), sisters Shanda Govain-Beavers of Moline, IL; Brittica Hearn of Davenport, IA; Datrese Monique Hearn of Bolingbrook, IL; and Dejunique Hearn of Chicago, IL; nine nieces, seven nephews, two great-nieces, one great-nephew, several aunts, uncles, cousins, a father figure for several years, Dexter D. Beamon, Sr., and special sisters/friends Elizabeth Henry, Mary Heinrich, and Nonnie Davis.
Visitation for family and friends will be 10:30am to 12:30pm, Wednesday December 29, 2021 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 - 7th Avenue, Rock Island, Illinois. A service Celebrating her life will follow at the funeral home starting at 12:30pm. Burial is planned in Pinehill Cemetery, Davenport, Iowa.
