Charles Anthony Clark, 54, of Rock Island, died Tuesday, Aug. 19,

2014, at UnityPoint Health-Trinity Rock Island.

Services are 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral

Home, Rock Island, with visitation one hour before. Burial will be at

Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island.

Mr. Charles Anthony Clark, son of the late Bertha L. Clark and late

James Clark Sr. was born March 16, 1960.

He moved to Rock Island in the mid-1960s as a child and attended Rock

Island School District No. 41. As an adult he worked as a roofer for

many years. Charles was a very happy, fun-loving person who always

kept you laughing. He especially adored his family. He loved

collecting Hot Wheel cars and enjoyed fishing.

He was united in marriage to Twan Lamar for 10 years. To this union

were born four children, son, Charvez Clark, Moline, daughters,

Sharlia Clark, Moline, Antonia Clark, South Carolina, and Tytianna

Clark, Rock Island.

He is survived by his wife, Twan Clark; sons, Charvez Clark and Shawn

Valentine; daughters, Sharlia Clark, Antonia Clark, Tytianna Clark,

Brittani Adams, Kendra Hunt and Courtney Stephens; brothers, James

(Kattie) Clark, Jimmie (Shirley) Clark, Bryant (Kathy) Clark; sisters,

Irma Watson, Barbara (Marshall) Pass and Marie Ervin; and a host of

nieces and nephews and family members.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Bertha L. Clark and father,

James Clark; and his grandparents, Ora and Raif Robinson.
