Charles “Chuck” Dole, 70, of Rock Island, passed away Friday, October 30, 2026, at UnityPoint Health Trinity – Rock Island.

Per his wishes, no funeral services will be held. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family.

Chuck was born September 22, 1956, in Cedar Rapids, IA, the son of Frederick and Margaret (Day) Dole. He married Pauline McKinley on September 19, 2020, in Milan. Chuck worked for the City of Rock Island for 28 years, retiring in 2025.

Chuck enjoyed music and had a special place in his heart for all animals. Above all else, he loved his family.

Survivors include his wife, Pauline; children, Jennifer (Kevin) Hagrus, Joshua Dole, Chasity Johnson, Crystal (Dale) Dole, Stephanie Schive, Heather (Craig) McKinley, and Dennis Dick; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren with a third on the way; sisters, Jean Rumley, Mary (Mike) Jenkins, and brothers, Sam Dole, Robert (Jean) Dole, Ed (Lorie) Dole; brother-in-law, Robert Alvarado; and sisters-in-law, Connie Dole and Robin Dole.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, David Dole and Fred Dole; sister, Betty Alvarado; and in-laws, Judy Dole and John Rumley.
