Charles E. "Tray" Schuldt III , 53, of Moline, Ill., passed away Thursday May 21, 2020 in Moline.
A private family service will be live-broadcast (www.wheelanpressly.com/live-stream) at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, from Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island, Ill. Friends may express their sympathy at a drive through visitation one hour prior services (10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday) at the funeral home. Due to public gathering restrictions you will be directed when you arrive, and will not be permitted to exit or gather outside your vehicle. Private burial will be at Andalusia Cemetery, Andalusia, Ill. Memorials may be made to Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
Tray was born March 14, 1967 in Davenport, Iowa, a son of Charles "Skip", Jr. and Pamela Yeager Schuldt. He grew up in Andalusia, Ill., and graduated from United Township High School, Class of 1986. He later graduated from MacMurray College, Jacksonville, Ill. Tray married Barbara M. Ackerman on January 12, 1990.
Tray owned Schuldt HVAC, Moline. He began working with his father, and worked for many years in the Quad-Cities and Chicago areas.
His favorite times were those spent with family and friends. He never knew a stranger. Tray was an avid Cubs fan. He enjoyed vacationing, cruising, concerts, BBQ, and the Blues Brothers.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara, of Moline; children, Eric (Thasha) Ackerman, Davenport, Iowa, Chris Schuldt (fiancée, Katie Riner), Wataga, Ill., and Alexis Schuldt (fiancé, Brock Williams), Moline; grandchildren, Leighton Williams and Ava Ackerman; mother, Pamela Schuldt, Moline; brothers, Dewey (Lisa) Schuldt, East Moline, and Chad (Joddi) Schuldt, East Moline; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and his best friend, Jon Catterton, Silvis, Ill.
Tray was preceded in death by his grandparents; father; and an infant brother, Joshua.
