Charles D. "Sandy" Hayslett, 84, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015 in Minneapolis, Minn. He was a life resident of the Quad Cities, especially of East Moline.

Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday, June 13th at the Washburn-McReavy Glen Haven Funeral Chapel, 5125 W. Broadway, Crystal, MN 55429. Visitation will be 10 am until service time.

Charles was born March 24, 1931, a son of Alvie and Atlee Marie Lyles Hayslett. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II. He retired from the John Deere Foundry.

Survivors include four daughters; a son; seven sisters; and two brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son; and 11 brothers and sisters.
