Obituary
Charles S. Schmacht, 49, of Bettendorf, Iowa, passed away Friday February 17, 2023 in Rock Island.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at 3:00pm Saturday March 4, 2023 at the Rock Island Boat Club.
Charles was born on January 30, 1974 in Daytona Beach, Florida, the son of Walter and Terry (Balzer) Schmacht.
He had been employed by Tyson Foods.
Charles loved spending his time camping, fishing and relaxing with family and friends.
Survivors include his son, Kristopher Schmacht; brothers, William Schmacht, Donavan Schmacht, Chadd Loaff; nieces and nephews, Abby, Arry, Avvy, Alexis, Johnathan, Joseph and his former wife, Sandra Schmacht.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Terry.
