Cheryl A. Bobb, 66, of East Moline, passed away Friday June 17, 2016 at her home.

In accordance with her wishes, private family services will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family to be designated later. Arrangements are entrusted to Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 - 7th Ave., Rock Island, IL.

Cheryl was born April 24, 1950 in Clinton, Iowa, a daughter of George  C. and Louise M. Dyer Williams. She graduated from Rock Island Alleman High School, Class of 1968.

She was a licensed cosmetologist for many years for several  area beauty salons, including Queen's Parlour, Moline, The Hair Co., and  lastly at, The Magic Wand.

Cheryl enjoyed reading, quilting, making afghans, walking along the river, and going to Alleman football games. She also was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan.

She is survived by her life companion, Troy Wilkinson, East Moline; stepchildren, LeAnn, Lena, Linda and Nick; several step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; sisters (and brothers-in-law), Regina (Ernest) Donaway, Rock Island, and Claire (Phillip) Ekstrom, Monticello, Minn.; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents and her niece, Renae Ekstrom.
