Chief Amun El aka Brandon Williamson, 49, of Rock Island, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021 at his residence.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island.

Chief was born on June 5, 1972 in Davenport, the son of James Lamont "Monty" Camp and Barbara A. (Sanders) Williamson.  He was a music producer for RTEG.

Chief is survived by his children, Latez Perkins, Braiania Williamson, Octavia Perkins, Xavier Mentria, Shentearia Williamson, Nakare Beechum, Brandon J. Williamson Jr., Nasir Beechum, Kalob Kimmins, Anthony Shears III, Darhius Harrison, Joseir Harrison and Aaron McElroy; sisters, Sonya Hoskins, Sherri Kerr, Brittany Washington and Justin "Jay" Wright; aunts, Blanche Jackson and Bonnie Ossian; uncles, Rex and Michael Camp; special friend, Will Clay.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Jerome and Travis Williamson.
