Christian D. "Chris" Frost, 51, of Moline, died Friday, March 25, 2016 at Genesis Medical Center - Illini Campus, Silvis.  Per his wishes, cremation rites were accorded.  A celebration of life gathering will be Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. at the Rock Island Conservation Club 2421 Big Island Rd., Milan.  Memorials may be made in care of the family to forward to an animal shelter of their choice.  Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home & Crematory are handling the arrangements.

Christian was born in Moline on July 25, 1964, a son of John "Jack" and Marilyn Kurth Frost.  He married Marla Hodson on April 23, 1988 in Rock Island.

Christian was a senior designer for Cobham Life Support Company for the last 28 years.

He enjoyed golfing, shooting and woodworking.

Christian will always be remembered as an outgoing, loving, patient, and supportive individual.  He was also a wonderful father who enjoyed watching his children's sporting events and was Marla's "Rock."  He will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Marla Frost, Moline; sons, Logan (Jamie Foster) Frost and Jacob (Erika Torres) Frost, both of Moline; his four-legged kids, Sarge and Izzie; mother, Marilyn Frost, Rock Island; brother, Paul (Gail) Frost, Elmwood Park, Ill.; mother-in-law, Mary Ellen Hodson, Rock Island; sister-in-law, Robyn (Trace) Bentley, St. Helena, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and father-in-law, Carl Hodson.
