Christine D. Clemann, 89, of Chillicothe, IL, formerly of Moline, passed away Tuesday May 20, 2014 at Heritage Health, Chillicothe.Services are 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Moline, with visitation one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Moline. Memorials may be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Moline.

Christine was born December 15, 1924 in Manila, Philippines; one of twenty-six children born to Isaac and Victoria (Guezarra) Dizer. She married Alvin A. Clemann on December 21, 1946 in Manila, Philippines. He preceded her in death on July 3, 1991.

Christine worked in the cafeteria of the John Deere Administration Building for 25 years. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Moline. Christine enjoyed bowling and bowled in the Immanuel Lutheran Church League for many years.

Surviving are her children (and spouses), Edward D. (Margaret) Clemann, Rock Island, Elizabeth L. (William) Johnson, St. Clair Shores, MI, Alvin A. (Elizabeth) Clemann, Jr., Myrtle Beach, SC, Mary C. (William) Bond, Chillicothe, IL, and William J. (Hilda) Clemann, Chantilly, VA; fourteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and several brothers and sisters.
