Cidney Curtis Anders, 34, of Rock Island, passed away unexpectedly Friday, September 15, 2023, at his home. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 29, 2023, at the KNOX CHAPEL of Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 2106 7th Avenue, Rock Island. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 28, 2023, at the KNOX CHAPEL of Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 2106 7th Avenue, Rock Island. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Moline. Memorials may be made to family.

Cidney was born June 12, 1989, in Rock Island, to James Allen Anders and Julia A. Brown. He loved music and cherished the time spent with his family and friends. Cidney will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his mother, Julia; twin brother, Stephen Anders and Christopher Spears; sister, Courtney Anders; special brothers and cousins, Hasan Stoner, Austin Jandura, Mark Jackson, Thaddeous Jackson, Rozell Ritemon, Davarius Johnson, Josh Anders, Ciera Davis, and Brandy Harris; special friend, Jarnesha Wright; nieces, Izabella Blackwell, Aliyah Anders, and Sanaa Anders; and a host of extended family members and friends.

Cidney was preceded in death by his father.
