Cindy Beckman, 68, of Davenport, Iowa passed away December 20, 2023, at Genesis East Medical Center. Celebration of Life services will be held 3:00pm Saturday December 30, 2023, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Cindy was born on October 15, 1955, in Rock Island, the daughter of Donald and Shirley (McCreary) Humes. She graduated from college with a bachelor's degree in education. She was a special education teacher with the Moline School District for several years. Cindy later was employed as a server at Velie's and Steventon's. Cindy will be remembered for her humor. She enjoyed gardening, baseball, and QVC. Survivors include her children, Kate Beckman, Mike Beckman, Maggie and Drew Click; Maddox Click, grandson; siblings, Teri and Ken Muehlbauer, Dave Humes, Jim Humes and Joe Quinn, Tim and Kerry Humes; several nieces and nephews.
