Clifford M. Gauley, 74, of Reynolds, passed away Saturday April 16, 2016 at UPH-Trinity, Rock Island.

Private graveside services were held in Preemption Cemetery. A gathering to celebrate Clifford's life will be held 2:00-8:00pm on Saturday April 23, 2016 at the Reynolds American Legion, 501 Main St, Reynolds, IL 61279 . Memorials may be left to Gilda's Club Quad Cities.

Clifford was born on February 10, 1942 in Rock Island the son of Robert and Hattie (Robinson) Gauley. He married Betty Johnston on November 16, 1963 in Milan.

Mr. Gauley worked on the family farm all of his life.  He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, he also enjoyed playing  and coaching softball for Adams Tap and watching the Quad City Mallards Hockey team.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Betty; children, Dean and Julie Gauley, Donnie and Joche Gauley, Debbie and Tyler Matlick; grandchildren, Ashley, Marissa, Carter, Carson, Autumn(Jeremy), Brandon, Cody, Abbie, Chloe and a brother, Robert and Sandy Gauley.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
