Clifford E. Wiborg, 87, of Rock Island, passed away Wednesday May 19, 2021 at Aledo Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Private family services were held on Tuesday May 25, 2021 at Rock Island National Cemetery. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family. Military honors will be presented by the United States Army.

Clifford was born on August 14, 1933 in Moline, the son of John Harold and Hazel (Schmook) Wiborg.

After college, Clifford had been employed at Douglas Aircraft in California. He later moved back to the area and worked at the Rock Island Arsenal and had been the owner of Wiborg Products Company.

Mr. Wiborg was a United States Army Veteran.

He had been a longtime attendee of First Evangelical Free Church, Moline and had also attended Edgewood Baptist Church, Rock Island.

Survivors include his daughters, Deborah (Warren) Lauritzson, Moline, Janette Lyle, Moline; sons, Danial (Vicki) Wiborg, John D. (Shelley) Wiborg, Monmouth; 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
