Clinton R. Taylor, 64, of Rock Island, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at his residence.

Clinton was born on April 27, 1956 in Greenville, AL, the son of Clinton and Willie J. (Chrenshaw) Taylor.  He married Nadine Slater on September 23, 2000 in Rock Island.   Clinton Retired in 2018 after 32 years as a forklift operator for Rock Island Bedding.  He enjoyed watching sports, old western movies, and listening to old school music.  Clinton's biggest joy was spending quality time with his Family and friends

Clinton is survived by his wife, Nadine Taylor; children: Terrance, Demarco, Damien, and Ray Gray and Mariah Taylor; step children, Latoya Slater, Shalonda (Jimmy) Bragg, Perry Slater, and Deontay Hearn; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Brenda Anders,(Rock Island) Debbie Taylor, Douglas Taylor, (both of minneapolis) Gary Taylor, (Hollywood Fl.)and Fabian Taylor (Cedar  Rapid Ia); step sisters, Annette, Vicki, and Judy Phillips; and multiple nieces, nephews, and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Angela Marie Taylor; brother, Edward Taylor; son, Willis Gray; and daughter, Rayesha Taylor-Hearn.
